Lapland Testbed brings together the modern development and testing environments of Lapland University of Applied Sciences to support the development, validation, and piloting of health and wellbeing technologies. We provide companies and communities a smooth pathway from early‑stage idea validation to real‑world testing with users and professionals.

Instead of offering only facilities, we act as a hands‑on RDI partner, helping companies turn ideas into practical solutions that meet the needs of diverse user groups and challenging operational environments.

Our primary focus is to support companies in Lapland, but we collaborate nationally and internationally. Testing can be carried out in Rovaniemi, Kemi, and Tornio, or directly in real service environments across Lapland through our partner networks.

We specialize in solutions that improve accessibility, remote service models, and continuity of care across sparsely populated Arctic regions.
